Valencia Tourist Card
I picked up the Valencia Tourist Card for a 3-day trip and it genuinely made getting around the city effortless. Since I'd bought it online in advance, my card was already waiting for me at a dedicated vending machine right at the airport — no queues, no confusion, just grab and go. From that moment on, I could hop on any bus or metro without ever worrying about which ticket to buy or how much to pay. Getting from the airport to my hotel was completely stress-free, and so was every journey around town after that.
The card itself is an NFC pass — you simply tap it wherever you need to, which feels seamless and modern. And importantly, it's the official card of the city of Valencia, not some third-party product. That gives you real confidence that it's widely accepted and properly integrated with local transport and venues.
One thing I'd flag for anyone planning their trip: think carefully about which days you include in your pass. I bought mine covering a Sunday, and it turned out that many of Valencia's top public venues — including the stunning Silk Exchange (La Lonja) and the Serranos Towers — are free to enter on Sundays anyway. So while the transport access was still a great benefit that day, I could have saved some money by timing my pass around that. A little planning goes a long way!
