Aquarium de Paris

(Paris Aquarium)

That old aquaria needn't be dated is proven by the Paris Aquarium, Europe's oldest aquarium (anno 1867). Located in central Paris it's been apart of life for Parisians since Napoleon.

An institution that offers an unforgettable experience for children and adults alike, with an odd 60 tanks and pools where you'll find more than 7,500 sea creatures, including some 50 sharks. More uniquely, all these sea creatures were all taken from the waters of France and its (more tropical) territories.

The Aquarium is situated in the Trocadéro gardens opposite the Eiffel Tower, offering an exceptional view of the Eiffel Tower in a green setting.
